A few things you gotta understand about HR in order to realize why they're terrible:
First, the people who go into HR are stupid. Have you ever met an intelligent HR worker? No, you most likely haven't.
Second, HR isn't acting in employees' interests. They are ONLY acting in the company's interests.
HR doesn't care about you. HR cares about the company.
