Heyo /biz/
I am currently enrolled in picture related as a rising sophomore. I'm interested in going on the finance track, but not the economics track. Harvard doesn't offer a finance or business degree, and honestly I find economics to be a rather boring pseudoscience compared with classics/history. Not saying that I don't find Ec interesting, but I think that I would feel much more fulfilled after 4 years of Ovid than 4 years of Sumners and Friedman, probably ending with a higher GPA as well. I mostly want to do consulting/strategy. Any advice? Is it worth slugging through 3 more years of inflation graphs for probably a 3.5 GPA and an Ec degree or 3 years of intellectual stimulation and a 3.7 History/Classics Degree. All with respect to employment opportunities of course. Not trying to enter into extremely quantitative areas, too many numberphilic Asians to compete with. Gracias amigos.

Assuming you're not trolling, a Harvard degree in Economics will give you much better job prospects than a BA in History would ever get you.

Not trolling, I would either do a BA in History or Classics and a secondary in Econ or a BA in Econ and secondary in History.
Not sure how to reply to a specific post, but to the second post about intellectual stimulation: not asking for your opinion on intellectual stimulation mate, just saying that I personally find history literature and architecture much more stimulating than Economics.

Oh okay, proceed to delete your thread then, "mate"

>want to get degree in history and classics instead

So fucking go read history books in your spare time. An Econ degree is obviously much more lucrative and redpilled. Ivy League is now cucked beyond belief and your history class will be biased. If you want classics, go to a fucking library.

Yeah you could learn everything in Econ at a library too but its more beneficial to get those classes.

Stop acting like a stereotypical instant gratification seeking millennial and invest in yourself with a worthwhile degree. To be honest though, with Econ majors most arent taken very seriously if youre not all the way a Ph D
