i had been looking for a UK robinhood alternative as i've a similar amount as OP to trade. I found DeGiro who have a low-fees website broker and a future app platform which isn't out yet but looks the same as RH.
As i was signing up, i did a bit of googling and found a few people talking about degiro problems so didn't sign up, but i'd be interested in hearing anyones opinions on it as a broker if they had experience. OP should look at it too.

I'm on the same boat, I want to learn how to invest but idk where to start, Tried learning through investopedia but I do better reading a book than all that information they sort of have thrown in there. Also tried the simulator but I haven't been able to even beat the S&P 500.
