What are the five most useful college courses for the market/life in general.
For me it would be:
-Principles of Microeconomics
-Principles of Macroeconomics
-Logic/Critical thinking
-Statistics
-Intro to Programming/CS

there's no chance that a 200/300 level econ course is useful in any way. you should just do applied math up to diff eqs and if you're interested further in financial planning/politics specifically just listen to a podcast once in a while.
also intro to logic is just as useful as a painting class. c'mon now.

> Intro to Psychology
> Intro to Sociology
> Business management
> Accounting

If I could add one more it would be HR

Probably this :^)
Seriously though, it's useful for any field and (at least in America) it's not taught well at a pre-college level.

I think you underestimate how many people don't understand what logic really is. Usually when I hear people use the word logic, it's in a political context, and the way they use it is vague at best and sometimes outright hypocritical. For example when people post about "conservative logic" or "liberal logic" they're cherry picking - which is a faulty generalization. People may also see the futility in arguing with someone when you can't even agree on basic axioms and the exact meanings of the words being used, something that happens all the time.

I took a course in logic/critical thinking, and went in expecting it to be a piss easy class.
I ended up learning a bunch of shit that would be useful regardless of what field a person was studying. For instance learning about critical thinking greatly improved my writing, and the symbolic logic portion was very useful when I taught myself to program.

Personal Finance
Some people are just financially retarded and need this class

Experience gets you a job not a piece of paper.
You're hostile because I'm confronting the notion that you wasted money and time.
