Let's say that I fall upon some financial hard times and withdraw $16,500 from my Roth IRA(That is, 3 years of principal contributions).

Am I allowed to, in the next year, contribute that same $16,500+$5,500 or am I only allowed to contribute that maximum annual amount?

Just don't withdraw from your roth ira. It's not a fucking checking account
