I have two debit cards I use a lot.
1) has 1% cash back
2) has round up savings on every purchase, with a 10% savings bonus up to $500/year on all rounded up amounts. So if I spend $3.50, they round up to $4, move 0.50 into savings + free $0.05 bonus.
Whats the best strategy to decide which card would give me the most benefit when making purchases?

Option 1.
>Make a $10,000 purchase with a 90 day return policy
>Cash out $1000 reward after first statement
>Return items
>Repeat

They are both complete shit. Just use a 2% cashback card, and get an Amex Bluecash for 3% on groceries.

My credit just got trashed the past year so I'm just trying to squeeze out whatever I can. I cant qualify for any additional cards. I owe a lot of money to Amex at 0% lifetime interest so I doubt they want to give me another card.
My monthly spend is around $5-6k so the 1% is better than nothing for now.
I was thinking maybe someones done the math on something similar before.
$5.50 $0.055 vs $0.05
$10.10 $0.10 vs 0.09
I guess the 1% card is better the majority of the time, oh well.
