So i remembred a tweet from 2014 - 2015 were a journalist was saying that a person who invested 10k in the UBER seed investment would have now a share of 80milion. but no counting the dilution.
so wtf, how ir it possible and wtf dilution have to do with it? im know to stock markets and IPOs an things but can someone explain me this movements?

A company that starts from nothing and suddenly becomes a commonplace service over a few years can theoretically grow by a factor of 8000. Uber is valued in the BILLIONS. If it started at 1 million, it would only need to be worth 8 billion now for that to be the case. It's really not hard to imagine.
