Hear me out on the current business predicament I have.
I work full time as an I.T technician, where I am an employee and am paid a set salary amount which is my primary, 95% source of income
I decided to make my own business website and try and attract my own business clients, as what I am doing now for another company, I can do the exact same thing but cut out the employer who takes most of the money. Surprisingly I am already seeing positive results i.e I have received a few new clients through my personal company and I have had to juggle my full time job work houes to attend these personal clients. But the money I have received through these clients in my new small business is no where enough to live off financially as a primary source of income.
I work full time as an employee to survive, but it also prevents me from being able to spend enough time building my own business to the point where its financially possible to live off of.
Sure I could do what my brother did and move in with mommy at the age of 28 and build my business by not having any rent to pay, but I refuse to do that out of pride and principle.
So... I know nobody likely has a magic answer that I havent already thought of, but I know some of you are entrepreneurs and may have a good approach/
Is the only solution to transition slowly from full time work into my own business, like going part time or dropping a day at my current job. But if there is any solution I havent thought of to build up my business, while also having a steady and stable income, please share your ideas.

Try to get your hours reduced or work the same amount of hours but for fewer days. Schedule all clients on the day off or evenings.

Possibly tell your employer that he should significantly increase your pay because you have a better offer.

nvm I'll just answer here. I thought you were going to ask advice about how to improve your business

you should try to get your pay slightly reduced in order to work remotely. come up with a reason, offer to have your pay reduced by ~15% and handle everything outside of the office

how exactly are you attracting people to your site and what are you doing there?

you could pivot your site into a blog - possibly with how to videos - targeted toward upper management [the people that hire it guys]. Maybe advice on choosing an it guy

if you keep at that you'll set yourself up for a list of potential clients via your readership and a soft landing after quitting your job

If you can't sacrifice your pride or current comfort in living, then maybe entrepreneurship isn't for you.

Keep your job and work on the side. Your business growth will be slow, but when you save enough to live off of for about a year, resign, then focus on you.
