Let me give you guys some advice:
As someone who comes from money, I can tell you that this board is garbage. 90% of the questions can be googled, and the other 10% are too stupid to warrant an answer. You're not going to get rich quick, and you won't beat the market.
You want some real advice? Throw your meager savings in an index fund, and learn a useful skill. That's all you neeed to know.

We already know that. Everyone knows that.
But an index fund won't make you a millionaire before 30.

Except the vast majority (70%+) of CFAs, CFPs, and people with Master's in Finance working at places like Vanguard can't beat the market.
Yet, on an Indian Loo Pooing forum, people seem to destroy the market on the reg. Funny how the only actual money stubs we see are from people like iHaz, and no one else.
So yeah, 90% of biz should be just sticking their money in a comprehensive index like Target Retirement 2050 or LifeStrategy Growth in a traditional or Roth IRA.

Personal contribution is $5,500, but workplace IRAs can have contributions in excess of $20k.
If you have a Health Savings Account, you can contribute $3,350 yearly and invest it as well.
