Can we get a poor people hate thread?
>>

does bernie to realize raising the minimum wage will just result in mass unemployment? i mean it's elementary economics surely he's not that retarded
>>
>>1209824

Bernie

Economics. Pick one
>>
lol these people are so dumb XDDD
>>
I work at Art of Shaving. Our cheapest razor is a $60 razor that comes with one Fusion blade. People literally pay us upwards of $200 for razors because we say they're better. Not to mention paying us $80 every four months for shave cream, after shave, and oil.
>>
>>1209823

Making money is not always within a person's control.

Being fit is 100% within a person's control.

So... a poor hate thread is really not the same.
>>
>buys 400 dollar car
>spends 5k on rims and a sound system
>>
>>1209859
kek I bought an entire straight razor shaving kit that I put together myself on amazon with better quality stuff and saved more than 150 dollars. Art of Shaving is absolute SHIT. Shit quality in general. Why the fuck would I buy sandalwood there when I could order the real Taylor of Old Bond Street on Amazon for next to nothing in comparison??? It's simply preying on people who don't know better which is a great business model honestly. Most won't do research and will see it in the shopping mall and buy some gift for someone.

>Being fit is 100% within a person's control.
no it isn't

99.9% of the time it actually is. Not many people have prader-willi. Have examples? I have sources.

hormones.
not just women being fat, but also guys being unable to build muscle.
they can be "fit"ter than what they are currently, but not everyone can be fit by /fit/ standards
>>
>>1209926
/fit/ has fat hate threads, not unfit hate threads. The point is, there is no excuse to be obese. Ever.
>>
>>1209926
>but also guys being unable to build muscle
True. Hyperthyroidism is the usual culprit. Other issues such as sex hormones out of the usual range can be supplemented/blocked as needed. Meditation for Cortisol. Reducing caffeine to reduce adrenal fatigue and cortisol release etc.
Lifting also releases more testosterone which builds muscle and aids in fat loss through lipolysis, so...if they don't have hyperthyroidism then there isn't much of an excuse as their is an inconvenience.

Having money is much easier and within everyones ability than being fit is

Losing weight is actually a great way to have more money.
>>

>they can be "fit"ter than what they are currently, but not everyone can be fit by /fit/ standards

No one is asking you to be 210lbs 8% bf but being grossly overweight IS harmful, and IS entirely within your control.

Calories in > Calories out, all there is to gaining weight.
>>
>>1210000
>tfw 3 years ago was 195 at 8.5% bodyfat.

Then I started drinking and got fat fat fat fat. Hit 225. Down to 204 after 3 months and lifting again. Hypothyroidism and have to eat 1500kcal to plateau at 175. That's when lifting and doing cardio. Basically I hate when fat people make excuses because my test is natty only 400 and my t values are low as shit.
>>
>>1209913
Other than an illness (like cancer as an example) name a single thing that would stop a person from having a fit body....
>>
>>1209926
Nonsense.

Calories in and workload will dictate what becomes of a persons body.
>>
>>1209947
I could not disagree with you more.

Being fit takes literally 4 hours a week and simply eating like a sane adult.

Making money takes 40 hours a week, and smart decisions in a changing world.
>>
How come poor people are always fat or have fat kids? How can they be living like that yet have $400 a week to spend on high fructose corn syrup and McDonald's?

How come poor people always spend their money on stupid shit like sound systems for their cars or huge 60" TVs for their roach infested ghetto apartment?

How come poor people spend their income tax refund on stupid shit instead of paying off late fees, loans, saving for a rainy day, etc.

It's not the income that makes people poor, it's their spending habits. I only make $12/hour and have a GED yet I'm more stable financially than my Brother who is college educated making twice as much money as me. He's having his wages garnished because he wrecked his car and stopped paying the loan. He has I don't know how many credit cards defaulted. His credit is so shitty that he can't even qualify for a loan at a furniture store, and they will give their high interest loans to any Tom Dick or Harry.

I'm 22 and got a 653 credit score. I only defaulted one credit card when I was young and stupid. Otherwise my report is clean. I don't waste my money on junk food or eating out all day. I bought a cheap car in cash than getting a loan. I rent an apartment within my means. I buy groceries on my way home from work to save gas money. Etc. Etc. Etc.

Oh come on.
>>

Not that anon but I work 72 hours a week. Now thats becaus I work almost two weeks in one. Split that up and you have 36 hours a week in theory. Keep in mind I work ALMOST two weeks in one week, so add 4 more hours and you have your normal 40h a week. Just becaus you work parttime doesnt mean everybody does that.

biochemistry and physics have very different real world rules. calories in = calories out is bullshit. The laws of thermodynamics are far less affective than the laws of electromagnetism at the molecular and cellular scale.

That said measuring food intake is a good and precise practice for the predicting body re-composition results.
and we should all be adding the finishing touches to our summer bodies right now.

Thirdly, only in the rarest degenerative diseases/defects/disorders is establishing a regular movement pattern counterproductive to the improvement of quality of life.

and to biz it up. fast food is ridiculously expensive on a value basis. Measurement is important in all practices that seek efficiency and a good equilibrium state. Its important to measure what matters.
Excellent measures often require some qualitative analysis first.
Calories/$ is a shit metric
Grams/$ less shitty b/c results
Avg Nutrient Density/$ is an excellent measurement tool, though limited.
Avg Anti-Nutrient Density/$ same
Taking a ratio of the last two and weighing the Benefit to damage ratio is a high quality measurement.
Couple this with a firm understanding of minimum levels of essential nutrients and you'll be able to quickly map out a cheap efficient dietary solution and create a few rules of thumb.

buying and cooking your own food is one of the best things you can do for your wallet. Exercise is widely touted as a critical component of a high earning lifestyle as it is one of the best ways we have of clearing biological stressors. Lymph for example is only moved through muscle contraction.
It was recently published that muscles are one of the largest parts of the endocrine system and largely responsible for the detection and removal of damaged tissues. Fat builds up where you have the most stress to isolate substances. Where you are fat you are weak.

I know this is bait but do you not realize how inflation works? If minimum wage goes from $8-10 then Wal-Mart suddenly has to spend $10,000,000 more per year on wages. They're not gonna sit with $10bil less profits, they're going to raise the prices on everything by 25%.

i just buy 5packs of gilettes for $1 i can use a razor 2 times then throw away.

>laws of therodynamics
kek a good one

laws of thermodynamics can only provide you theoretical limits to what your body can absorb from what you eat these are upper limits not lower. also they are made for ideal gas which means don't even apply to your fart since it's not ideal gas.
>>
>>1210053

$60 for something that you use every day and that lasts a lifetime isn't actually bad. Also, safety razor blades are practically free.
>>
>>1210128
This is what it's like in Australia. The minimum wage is like $16.50 AUD but everything is expensive. When I went on holiday to the states, it felt like stuff cost peanuts in comparison, I couldn't believe it.
>>
>>1209926
how can someone eat perfectly, lift for an hour a day, run for an hour a day, and not put on muscle while stay fat?

blaming hormones is like a person thats been unemployed for years blaming the economy.
>>
>>1210148
>how can someone eat perfectly, lift for an hour a day, run for an hour a day, and not put on muscle while stay fat?
pretty easy if you fuck up your work/rest routine your body will break down muscle when you are working and try build it back when you rest. you work a lot but nothing changes because you eat enough to provide for the rebuilding of muscle so it doesn't have to touch the fat storage (which your body doesn't really like to it's like a savings account it only wants to grow it).

read The Millionare Next Door
>>
>>1209913
yes it is, unless you've got some serious illness

t. guy who lost 90 lbs of fat in two years and went from not being able to do a single pull up to now hanging 110 lbs worth of plates in a belt around my waist and repping that shit for 5

Getting fit is ridiculously simple if you know what you're doing. It's not always easy (psychologically), but it's fucking simple. Eat less calories than you burn to lose fat, lift heavier and heavier weights over time to gain muscle, do cardio regularly for good heart- lung and cardiovascular health.
>>
>>1209913
If you're not disabled and have no illnesses then it is

True.
It 95% determination.
4% increasing workload steadily.
1% research time wise to see what to keep in/out of your diet and how to do what you want to do.

Inspiration fuels determination.
Find inspiration and never let it go.
>>
>>1210450
That's impressive. I lost 45 pounds but regained 20 pounds. Gonna start gym again though.
>>
>>1209909
Wealth, fitness, poverty & weakness are all partly within each person's control, with the majority of people having majority control over their own states (as the "disadvantaged" are the statistical minority).
>>
>>1209824
No, lots of liberals/socialists lack Econ 101 knowledge.
