I've got $3000 to invest and I want to triple that figure. What kind of stocks should I invest in nowadays? and how risky and diversified? what are the assets I should buy? gold, silver?
>>
>>1196079
need reading material too
>>
>>1196079
Stick it in a Roth. Should triple in about 30 years.
>>
>>1196112
I want to triple in a couple months. What risky investments should I make?
>>
>>1196141
I heard the rumpcoin is tight these days
>>
>>1196141
Triple in a few months? Well, it's either poker or maybe making all-ins on forex. You can triple your money in 3-5 years with a good stock choice, but in a few months? The risk should be insane, like in casino or something.
>>
>>1196142
No, I want to invest in Oil or Tech (esp. cyber-security) co. stocks. But before I do that I need some guidance or at least advice.
>>
Gxy, gmm, ajm, pls

Lithium miners on the asx
>>
>>1196151
Thank you for tips. GXY stock looks good - but what happened in 2012 and 2013 that made the price drop so much? I'm looking at the google ohlc chart.
>>
>>1196169
Maybe you should ask why it's high now

It seems as though you don't know much about the markets. No biggie. The younger you are the better as you can afford high risk strategies (although 3k is almost nothing today). Put that money away in a low risk vehicle for now amd start doing research. You might have a good amount of time to pile on more cash before the next correction in C major. I'm tired and on my phone so I'll just link you a list of books. Many may seem dry cut and boring and if you find that they are this may not be for you. Put some time in and do your homework. By the next time things come back down you might be ready. But don't try to catch an falling knife as they say.

I guess that there's a demand for lithium on the world market.

I thinks there's a thread just for you in the catalog

>3000 dollars is almost nothing on market
Well what amount of money would be something to start? I don't have 10k to spare on stock market so I'd like to flip what I do have. Thanks tho.
>>
>>1196188
Lots of people say this because what's 10% of 1000 dollars? it's not nothing but it's not real money. You make more at McDonalds moor your time with less risk
>>
>>1196188
There are things that you can do with it but not in the markets, especially bat this time. Maybe find something you know a lot about and maybe would enjoy doing. EG; resale of vintage items to hipsters over eBay etc. Or find something to put the money towards that will benefit you in the long run such as an education/course perhaps.
>>
>>1196193
No, sorry I want to take risk and make money on market trading in a relatively short time span. That's what this thread is about.
>>
>>1196200
I already told you the rarecoins. Where else can you pump and dump with the best of the worse

If this guy gets into gxy and you all go to the moon AND THEN SELL i will concede defeat
>>
>>1196204
I don't know anything about the coin sales market. What's a good trading site? Do you sit on them for months or what?
>>
>>1196210
Bro I'm just shitposting

Put your money into an reit. Or an etf you like. Grab an index fund. Just don't gamble it because you think you will win
>>
>>1196208
buy 4k shares there at .4 or what?
>>
>>1196213
Double but you won't be able to do what you are trying. You will lose it with your attitude
>>
>>1196112
Why the fuck would you put it in a roth? He's only investing 3000, I doubt his income is high enough that he wants to avoid his current tax bracket
>>
>>1196213
I am not risk averse and the returns from stocks is better I think
>>
>>1196220
I was joking earlier but you belong with the coinfags.
>>
>>1196219
I don't have 10k to invest atm but eventually I could invest more than my income tax.
>>
>>1196141
Look up leveraged investing. Basically, you borrow money to buy more stocks/etfs/whatever.

It is risky if you are an absolute moron and buy stock for companies that are going to tank. However, if you are smart, you can make more "sure bets" on companies that you believe are certain to turn a decent profit.

The percentage profit will still be the same as stocks, but the point is that you get to make use of the "leverage" provided by the extra cash you are borrowing to put into stocks.

Read about it and consult with a professional before following through.

No I am looking at int mining co right now, but thanks.

>>
>>1196224
Thanks for the finance advice. Ya I see that I could borrow money to invest more and earn more profits. But I don't want to go into debt just yet and first off I'd like to double and then triple the 3k I want to risk.

I can tell you not what to do!
Don't turn $28k into $83 like I did in Feb/Mar of this year.
>>
>>1196904
do you mean $83k or 83 dollars?
>>
>>1196927
83 man!! lost my shit in futures trading. i got too short on the S&P and crude
>>
People here need to stop being autisticaly stuck in the financial markets dimension. There's other ways to make money you know.

Buy and sell shit, probably won't triple soon but, its your best bet.
>>
>>1196441
Ya I guess a short sell is more risky but the returns could be more too. Thanks for the advice. But I think that I'll bet on long term gains rather than roc drop on the short.
>>
>>1196587
No I won't do that. What I'm really looking for is advice on investment in rising markets and how to trade there for max profits.
>>
>>1196904
Wow if that's true then please tell us what you did so we know what and when not to make deals.
>>
>>1197635

You simply can't get those kinds of returns from an investment. Something with the huge returns you are looking for is essentially a gamble.
>>
Wew lad
>>
>>1197712
Well I don't see why not. If there's an upward trend in stock price or market potential and then the conditions are right the value of the stock would rise so I could sell and not lose.
>>
study the fuck out of biotechs. if it can cure fat ass americans of kart dependency, it will make billions, shit like that. you have to be a broad brained thinker though, retards cant see it.

just buy some ETFs of a sector you know something of, or has dividends, or commodities.

Oil, precious metals, and to a certain extent agriculture ETFs would be nice long bets...
>>
>>1196079
Trade risky stocks and aim for a 5% gain per week. In 22 weeks, you'll be at 9K (use robinhood b/c no fees).
>>
>>1197738

You can't predict the market. It is all probabilistic. Riskier stocks have a chance to make significantly higher returns but they also have a chance to make significantly lower returns.

You are just gambling.
>>
>>1197760
Yes I'm interested in stock dividend returns from the co or etf if there's overall market growth in some sector - and what I need to find is a g&s sector that's worth investing in to make 10k. I don't know how I'd profit quick in the domestic agro biz unless I was wealthy and able to take the risk that is the derivatives market.
>>1197765
So what do you consider risky stocks? not >>1197747 jw
>>
>>1197798
>cant predict the market
I see your point but I don't agree and your claim and it seems contrary to the point of investing. I'd agree if you said the market value of shares and securities is unpredictable in itself.
>>
>>1197812
small cap
>>
you might as well just gamble desu, better chances with roulette than with some meme stock taking off.
>>
>>1197884
I've already said above that I am not going to gamble at games. Why do posters keep saying this? Maybe the questions and requests that I'm asking are too sensitive for the knowledgeable investors/traders to post leads. Or maybe no one here knows how to risk their money and make gains over 1k.
>>
>>1196141
If you are determined to be a retard buy ATI futures after earnings.
>>
OP if you are serious about making gains that high I can introduce you to a group of traders but only if you plan on putting forward 100% effort into learning. Make a dummy Email account so I can send you the links.
>>
>>1198953
not OP, but im interested
>>
>>1197644
Here is what he did wrong

>be stupid and have money
>>
>>1198897
Are you counting on an upcoming war or something? I said that I wanted to triple what I invest over some months but I don't think I have the skill to take the risk on derivatives. I would like to invest long term in securities rather than sell short. That's why I made this thread to get tips on good stock or assets, specifically. Thanks tho.
