If you don't know what you're doing, 100% index funds.

Otherwise, invest in your area of competence.

If it's still below .35 on monday, put 250-300 in GALFX. This is your fun-money, play-the-market, cool-guy move you can brag about to friends in a year ic it does well (for a pink slip, it has a good chance).

If I were you I'd put the rest into a diversified portfolio of top-rated corporate bonds. The market is due for a correction. Wait for a really red day (they happen, and its been a while) then move it into an index fund.

also you've got good taste. You ought to read fear and loathing on the campaign trail '72. It's the source for large chunks of the story.

I don't know. You might get more return setting it on fire than asking people on 4chan advice about what to do with money.

But yeah... I'd recommend index funds like the other poster said.

Nice meme, OP should put it all in sp500, he's not going to lose his house, safety net unnecessary, better to get gains

He can only afford b shares. Not a bad idea though.

Hence corporate bonds for the time being. Hell, they should be relatively cheap at the moment because the S&P is so high. Then when it drops, they'll get pricey and he'll be flush.
