It's a completely shitty job with hugely perverse incentives. You're the best worker? Congratulations. You get to do the most work. Take care of this task list while your slacker co-workers sit around. The tasks you do are mind-numbing. It's only bearable if you are friends with your co-workers (which is hard because most of the time they're teenagers), and the manager is even more miserable than you are.

And not to mention the fact that you literally can't live off of what you make, there are no employee benefits, and they keep your hours low even if you want to work a lot so that they can still regard you as part-time.
In order to pick yourself up from your bootstraps, you need to be able to save money. YOu cannot save money by working part-time at McDonald's.
And if you're lucky enough to get to manager after a few years, congrats. Now you get to work 70 hours a week on a 40-hour adjusted salary with no overtime.

I'm in it for the money and experience. Trust me I've tried applying elsewhere for a starter job but I've hit multiple dead ends.
But how much could I earn within 3 weeks? I've put my pay at my states minimum wage (7.25)
I've been scraping at the bottom of the barrel and still got nothing. If I get hired, what should I expect?

Honestly it's just that the pay is rubbish because the potential competition for your job is infinite since any 'tard can flip burgers (as evidenced by the usual types who work there). There are probably <5% of adults who couldn't be a mcdonalds employee. The abundance of potential replacements drives the pay down. Very simple.
