Unless you are offering lower interest rates than a bank (low as fuck) you are not going to attract the banks customers.
What you will attract are people banks won't lend to because they don't pay their bills. Essentially you are running a ghetto short term loan shop online.

I would say it's likely too risky.
i looked into it the other week, basically the roi is not any different than an index fund, but carries more risk and doesnt have the fall-back. its also less liquid.
it just doesnt offer anything better than other options. not saying it's bad, but as far as "passive" investing goes, it's not a great option. id rather contribute 1% more in my 401k and forget about it. plus taxes on any gains i believe are treated differently (taxed more) than traditional investments
