>thinking about buying 3 or 4 bicycle transporters (pic related)
>rent a garage to house/fix them
>rent the bicycles at a flat rate / days
What do you think of my plan, /biz/?
My biggest worry is liability in case of accidents. I don't know whether there is even insurance for these things.

I don't think $1000 will cover 4 of those.
Also, Groningen?

The chinese and indians are switching to cars; meanwhile, white people are backsliding to rickshaws and bicycles.
Are you sure socialism is the way to go, nordfags?

>Groningen
Yes actually.

My plan was to get some used ones from marktplaats and restore them to working condition. What do you think? I also actually have some more capital as well.
I know mamamini allows you to rent one for up to 45 minutes for free and they never ask for insurance or anything. They just ask you for an ID to keep as collateral.
I guess if you scratch a car or something, you're the only one liable no? Not the business.

I think IKEA also rents them out. You should probably calculate how often you would have to rent them out to be able to afford their storage.
As for damages, maybe you can draft a simple contract that renters have to sign that says if the bike is damaged above a certain amount, they are liable for it. You can look into how car rental places deal with this, and just copy their contract.
Seems like a decent business plan though. There's plenty of people who love using these things to move shit around.
