you don't need a company. i've ordered from alibaba a few times. theyve never asked for a company name or anything even though I contact potential suppliers saying tings like "my company is interested in selling your product"

over all the chinese sellers just want to sell their shit, they don't care who buys

now I was ordering smaller items that could fit in boxes and be shipped through air, if you want to buy huge amounts that will required sea freight shipping then you might need a company, but I dont see why.
