Hey /biz/ I just got $5,000. I don't need it now, but I want it in a couple years. Where should I invest it/what should I do with it to make some money over a couple years?
Thanks, pic unrelated

Put all of it in rare Trumpcoins. You won't regret it.

I know you're just troleing XD, but just in case OP is retarded, don't put in Trumpcoins.
Vanguard/mutual find guy is the only sensible answer here. If it's short term, look for an income fund. Textbook recommendation is money market but that guarantees a real loss when you factor in inflation. If you need to keep it safe, Fidelity US Monthly Income.

Unrelated question for Equities/Forex analyst is one is out there:
I live in Canada and Canadian dollar has very strong correlation with price of crudeoil. Oil drops, CDN drops against the USD. R^2 =~98 in terms of correlation between CDN and crude. That being said, my Fidelity US small cap Fund holding in CDN made a killing on the exchange over and above the returns of the fund. Since CDN is widely considered a petro currency, would now be a good time to find a USD fund to invest that capital? I guess IV short I want to know what your oil outlook is. I need a 1 year forecast.
