How would you go about this? A silent weed wacker would have to turn the blades at a much lower RPM, so low that you'd either need a long sharp blade that would need to be sharpened regularly or apply some other method that I haven't realized yet. Maybe some sort of machine that grapples the weeds and uses a horizontal blade to chop them?

Why would a yard crew or home owner use one with all of the other loud yard equipment anyways? While your customers would, presumably, want silent yard equipment, they'll still be bugged by everyone else who chops their grass with lawn-mowers.

I guess you can market it to those weird fucks who like to cut their grass at 11:00 at night, but I believe those people do it because they hate their neighbors and want to annoy them with the sound.

Do a Kickstarter for weed that doesn't smell like shit.

I don't know how it will be made, that's why I'd like to crowdsource the R&D and subsequent funding.

I'd imagine the target demographic would use said weed Wackers for general maitaince and upkeep.
