Graduating in a few weeks (Business Management) and I have no clue what type of jobs I should be applying for.

All I know is that I would like a job where I sit around at a desk and do stuff. I have a lot of work experience but it is all shitty jobs like restaurant and retail work.

What are some good jobs where you just sit around at a desk most of the day?

What the fuck is "advanced diploma" is that even an accredited Bachelors Degree in any normal country?
>>

>>1162043
its a 3 year diploma
>>
>>1162046
Why didn't you just go for 4 years for a bachelors degree if you were going to spend so close to 4 years anyway?
>>
>>1162049
started with the 2 year program, decided to go for the 3 year program.

i can always do another 2 years and get a degree but i kind of want to see if any good will come of this diploma.

Seems kind of like a meme. People nowadays have degrees from target schools and many have MBAs just to get a crack at the good jobs so this(what seems to be a memay) seems like would pale in comparison.

i live in canada if that makes any difference.

i just want to know what i should apply for if i want a desk job. i just want to make some money for the stock market.

Obviously, the type of jobs you positions you should be looking for are managerial positions. Maybe you should search around for any start-ups in your area and play the long game. There is also a plethora of managerial positions in retail that should pay at least 50k with the inclusion of upward mobility.

Also you have a really shitty resume
90% is talking about past work experience that doesn't even relate to your degree.

You need to expand upon your degree and make that the focal point. Talk about your strengths and interest in business management.
Talk about your extracurriculars, sports, clubs, projects, hobbies that may make you more rounded/respectable.
What was your GPA?
What rank were you in your class?
Did you graduate with any honors?

The resume should be crammed with as much information that will make you look like the best candidate for any job related to business management.

>"Lmao do computer engineering you'll get any job you want"
>Fall for this

>OMFGWTFBBQ job markets terrible

I was hoping that as the boomers start retiring/dying off that the market would open up, but apparently they just replace them with Chinese and Indians.

We may have lucked out by having all this societal capital existing, but our generation ended up getting screwed by massive debt levels, the elderly voting themselves more welfare at the expense of the young, and an environmental disaster in the making that's gonna cut far into standards of living as prices skyrocket for basic goods.

I fucking hate this country.

If you can't find a job in computer engineering you're just doing something wrong.

You don't know my pain as a chem major.

Holy fuck OP. What this resume says to me more than anything is "I have both autism and no idea what I am doing with my career." Are you trying to get a career in sales, tech support, or a random hotel worker? It sounds to me that if you have a degree in management, your education is more geared toward management and not toward some kind of specialized work. Managers don't need to know how to do much, they just need to know the people who do know a lot and how to get them to do what they want them to do.

Look up a template for resume formatting and follow it.

Yes, list your work history. The problem is with your skills. Organizing them in such a way is foolish if you want to go into management, I feel. You'll have to play around with it, but I see what could be a good, young candidate that is drowned out by peripheral crap on his resume.

You need to sort through the bullshit for them, because the hiring managers are lazy. Even if it is not formatted correctly, some of them will just throw it out.
You have "extensive" customer service experience and skills, both in person and over the phone. You have experience in sales and persuasive speaking. You have worked in different kinds of businesses and have a cognizance of how to solve problems and resolve conflicts in a variety of situations. You have experience organizing staff and managing resources in time sensitive scenarios. To top off a history of practical education in business management, you got a degree to reinforce the things you learned from the theoretical angle.

You could sell yourself so well, but this resume fails to do you justice, OP. Get better.

Welp. You're basically qualified to work in the retail world.

Do you have any hard skills? Like SQL, CSS? Computer network maintenance?
