Will it happen, or not?
Was 2008 just a glimpse of the glorious days that are upon us?
How could someone profit from such a crash? Gold? Bitcoin?
Buy TVIX; that shit worked well for me today

It's not a stock; it's a leveraged fund that increases when the market is more volatile. It's like betting that the market will be volatile.
It looks like a crappy stock because they want to make money on it. It degenerates at a speed so that the house *should* win when dumbasses buy it thinking that it's an undervalued stock.

TVIX is not really a stock.
Went from like $4.90 to 5.24 today.
It will go up tomorrow. I'll bet my house on it.
What about gold? Physical, of course

Gold is the only safe investment when the stock market collapses.
Look at how the price of gold correlates with the market.

From what I see the price of gold dipped a bit the days after the 2008 crash and then started rising doubling in value in just 2 years. So I guess I can wait until the crash happens to buy most of it, although I'd prefer it to be physical. For some reason I think that the next crash or the one after will change things for good. It is not a viable system anymore
How many threads did we have last year predicting a crash?
That was literally all this board was from August to October after the cryptoshit died.

It doesn't necessarily have to happen this year or the year after, but I'd bet it does happen before 2020. The Aztec calendar says so.
Even gold would be useless after a while.
Buy guns, shovels, and blue jeans if you're really fucking scared.
