any expert gambler making money of it here ? share your stories of succeses and losses and if you feel like it share tips.

i've lost a significant amount of money on mainly sports bets but other games too, over the past few months, nothing vital but i have to admit it feels kinda uncomfortable and i'd like to win it back.

I'm no professional, but every time I go to vegas I make a few hundred dollars, maybe I'm just on a lucky streak, but my method isn't that random (seemingly)

Played poker for a living from 2008 till 2013 and still play it from time to time.
The kind of gambling, on which the house has an advantage is only for fun. If someone does not understand this he needs to stay away from gambling as far as possible.
Poker (probably sports betting aswell, but i dont really know) is a different thing. There is good money to be made, if you have one or both of the following assets: steelhard discipline, absolute greed to be succesful.
I stoped playing, because i simply did not like it anymore. Playing professional is boring as fuck.
If you have specific questions feel free to ask.

yes i was talking about mainly poker and sports betting, i don't play casino games to make money.

but much did you start with, if you had a set amount of money to play, and how much did it take to turn a profit. how much did you usually win as a beginner ? other than that i don't what to ask you man, there are literally infinite possibilities when it comes to games. one time i bet on the presumption that the other guy couldn't have had a fucking 4 of a kind and i obviously lost ( not much tho, he was waiting for me to bluff ), if there are any special techniques and tactics you have used please feel free to share some.

I got kicked out of an Indian casio for winning too much. I got blackjack two hands in a row and they kicked me off of live tables. They didnt specify a reason, they just said I was banned, took down my info, and told me to leave. Fucking indians

I have seen an overall lifetime gain of about 500% from playing slot machines at the casino. My secret is that I have only gone to the casino a couple times. Low sample size combined with random good luck means maximum gains.

I started with quite zero in 2007 and the feeling of beeing the best player in the world, which obviously was quite wrong.
I started playing online, but lost a couple hundreds. After that a friend introduced me to live hold em in the local casino and some private games. The players were very bad at that time. Had a couple of solid months and quit my job to player poker full time. And lost it all in a few months.
After that i read a lot of books and started grinding low levels online as practice. That worked wonders.
So i would suggest to anyone, that playing a couple of months with money you can spare(like 500 bucks) till you actually lose it. After that start reading all books you can get your hands on, especcially "ace on the river" by barry greenstein, because this book gives you a unique insight in a poker players live and struggles. After that specialize on one game and play as often as possible and you will be a winning player in a short time. After that, every players way is unique.
