Don't bother, CFA is useless compared to MBA or MSc degrees, time horizon involved is about the same. Both MBA and MSc degrees offer more complexity and broader expertise within its study time horizon.

Not necessary, statistically, most of CFA candidates do not pass every level of exam the first time they take it. That's why you have to involve cost for transportation, learning materials, courses and accommodation during exams and most importantly your personal time involved plus three years of work experience afterwards, the decision scheme is sure different whether you are unemployed or already running your own business. I already run my own business and went for MBA instead, I see more long term positive returns with this career approach.
