I have 8 PC's in my office, but no admin access to install anything.
Can I still somehow mine ETH?

Bump, bushwakers
ETH will not be rewarded the same way once we go Proof of Stake. I am unsure but I think Homestead was that milestone. Ethereum is POS now.

Wrong, it's still PoW. PoS will come with Serenity, which is a few releases away.

Just try the pre-compiled miners or whatever the fuck they're called, not sure if they need elevation.

so, if the release of homestead took ~6 months (?)
would it be likely that we have another year before Serenity is out? or do you think it'll come sooner?

Interesting. Is it worth it?
the fuck is ETH even. Yet another alt-coin or something?

The company I work for just bought a brand new server and I have access to everything. I was thinking about mining but I know jack shit about it. 16 computers run off of this server, I have no idea if that would be enough to mine anything. I honestly have no idea about digital currency whatsoever.
