Guys I am making a logo for a production company. I am wondering if there is anyway that I can improve on it? Reason for the logo and name is that an access road leads to a highway and it is like movies. Movies lead you into a different world.

How set are you on that name? I don't think it sounds good. Sounds like a production company for anal porn.

Good point. Not set on it completely.
In England "access roads" (roads that lead on to a highway (or motorway as they are known))Are called "slip roads"
Hire a designer on fiverr, dude.

Least it was better than bricky pictures which sounded like it was a hardcore gay pornography company and its logo was a fist... Yeah..... That was dumber than this one.

However I can really tell what you mean by that. "Access-Road" like "Anal-Rectum" Yeah...

Designfag reporting in.
The "trailer" would not work if you had to have it embroidered. It's too complex and it isn't really clear what it is. I'm just guessing it's a tractor trailer.
You'd be better off picking a nice clean font to set the type in and leaving it as that. This logo just screems "Lookit, I just got photoshop today and made myself a logo for free even though I have zero design skill/taste."

I pictured two parallel roads leading on inside the frames of 35mm film. I have Gimp, there a way to keep that idea? The idea seems good to me because it's like a never ending road like a never ending reel of film going on and on.

By the way am coming up with alternatives to Access Road, Parallel Road? Service... Okay Service is worse... Flip wouldn't work because it is mainly American... Going to Google.
>>1138214
My god... Frontage and backage road... Lol...
>>1138211
The idea is okay but the execution is abysmal. Look on logopond.com or designs purgation.com and type in film and road logos into the search and see what comes up.

Designspiration.com. Phone just auto-cucked me.
Another thing you need to know is that logos need to be saved in a vector format so they easily be scaled to any size. Adobe Illustrator is the program most professional designers use to make logos. If you handed this logo to a print/embroidery vendor they WILL ask for a vector file or charge you an arm and a leg so they can recreate your raster/pixel based logo into a vector based logo.

I also decided to come up with a better name:
Straying-Road Pictures.

Yeah I like Straying-Road Pictures.
"Design Fag" Seriously don't call yourself that. What would you do for an idea of a straying road that is never ending like 35mm film. I was thinking of film flopping on the floor and never stopping of a straying road.
