Is there any reliable way to make money with Adfly? I've heard some people make really good cash out of it, so I was wondering if there is any particular method to use (maybe posting high traffic websites, but I don't really know which ones). There is literally no way to make money from link shortening. None.
Here's a basic breakdown of why. What it does is it shortens the link down and filters the traffic through ad space before you have to go to the link you want. However if the person clicking the link has adblock on their browser, it doesn't count towards your view and automatically skips the link anyways.
Then there's the fact that you need like 5,000 links on one link to eve make a dollar, and the minimum withdrawal I believe is $5. That's 5,000 unique links as well. So if you have some sort of bot that just spams that one link it's not going to work. Plus they'll catch you cheating and ban you outright.
So you literally have to spam that one link, hope for about 25,000 different hits on that particular link and then withdraw it to paypal. All for at least $5. That's a lot of work for practically nothing. With as much work as you put into that you might as well do something that actually makes money.

Yes, tumblr blocks ad.fly. But under the "more options" setting you can actually have your url appear as js.ly or something like that, as well as others, which Tumblr does not detect
