네, 그런데 여기에서 아니예요.
Just not here.
But you know how to get an internship or a job in the it/programming sector in Korea?

Use the Sogang or Yonsei books to help your learning. They come with audio and the resources you need. You can go to SK and pay for language courses, it is the best way, but expensive.

Anyone know how hard it is to open a biz in Korea? I have an idea that I want to try out. Don't need much capital and already have a friend who is interested who lives there. But the government is not always easy to deal with as a foreigner.

On Linkedin you can find plenty of SSG job offers for relocating in Korea.

I had also been contacted by one of their headhunters and I did an interview with them. But there was no continuation to it, mainly because they can't speak decent english.

My papaw fought the norks and chinks so if I go to Korea it's to put them in the ground as he did.

So, I've learned Korean for the past 5 years and tested lvl 5 in topik a couple months ago. I haven't really had any luck getting jobs in Korea though outside of retard english teacher.

The problem is visa status, companies aren't going to sponsor your visa unless ur a fucking god at some other skill.

You really have to get permanent residency along with your korean ability to be able to get jobs in this country i think..unless you have the excess cash to come here on a working holiday visa and get sponsored from within the country - but then again its a big risk because you have to be spectacular at something else for them to sponsor.

What is your education? From what I understand what you say is true for most fields, but some (specially a few science areas) are not that hard for foreigners.

Nice. So what type of jobs? Mostly in it/programming? Learning Korean ATM. Want to try out a big name Korean company once I finish my Bachelor.

How hard is Korean vs Japanese?

Also porn is illegal in worst Korea, as are guns.

Guns are illegal in most civilised countries.

Korea has one alphabet and it's easy to learn. The grammar and sentence structure are very different from English so it's difficult.

Japanese has two alphabets as well as thousands of symbols to remember. It also has really difficult grammar. In all Japanese might be the most difficult language for an English speaker to learn whereas Korean is difficult but not as much.

unfortunately I was retarded and majored in International Relations, from an okay state school in the US. I feel like my only way to make it in Korea now is to go to graduate school here; which shouldn't be too much of a problem with Korean ability as a foreigner.

Eh, my gf already speaks and writes korean (shes danish though) so i could get her to do all my korean based needs for me

>How hard is Korean vs Japanese?
About the same. Very similar grammar. Korean is much easier to pick up the basics as the alphabet is super easy. But to get proficient, I think Korean have slightly more difficult grammar and a little harder.
Chinese is opposite. Harder to get into as the written form is complicated, but the grammar is super easy. Can be very complicated with the different tonations when speaking though.

Check out Asan, they are a political think thank in Korea, I have a friend who used to work for them. You need to be good though, can do it without any Korean abilities.
Also heard of people going into high paying jobs from international relations after taking a masters in Korea.
