Ethereum is premined too. The argument isnt how many extreme similarites there are between ethereum and ripple its that the statement "its not even released yet" means nothing. Ripple hit a billion dollar marketcap while it was still in beta and then crashed after it was released. The way it functioned in beta was exactly how it functioned outside of beta. When ethereum is released it doesnt mean everything will fundamentally change, it just means it is safer for people to use because all the bugs have been worked out.
