Tfw plebs are still not too late to the game. No-coiners this is your final call. The train leaves this week.
>>1122207
There will be room on the train for a while but the longer you wait the less your profit will be.
Ethereum isn't suddenly going to be less useful.
>>1122207
CHOO CHOO MOTHERFUCKER.
>>1122215
>implying it has any real use now
Unless you think that the $30 million trade volume is all due to people spending Ether on services and not entirely because of speculation? Do any of you retards actually USE this shit? I thought not.
>>1122227
Use will come. Look at dApps being developed.
>>1122227
...it's not out yet. This is all speculation. Why wouldn't we use it after stable release?
Like I said, it's not suddenly going to be a less useful product. It has elite potential and use and what you're seeing with the price is people with more foresight than you jumping on it.
You can be butthurt about not investing all you want but it doesn't change the fact that this shit is blowing up in front of your eyes and you're too blind to take advantage of it.
>>1122240
Are you trying to make a point? I don't understand.
Of course it's speculation. If your point is literally that people aren't using something that's not out yet then...what? Are you a real person?
>>1122222
Fuck yeah, to the moon.
>>1122257

No there isn't, there is a decentralized network.
It feels like 2013 again.
My advice, get a little bit and strap in for the ride.

DAMN N*C*INERS BACK AT IT WITH THE SKEPTICISM
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
>>1122356
What would you consider "a little bit?"
>>1122368
It depends on your financial situation.
The amount you are prepared to loose overnight without considering suicide or selling your car.
>>1122372
Fair enough. I've never traded any crypto before, but the shilling on here has convinced me to throw a bit of cash down.
Show me any real use examples, shills. That's a standart 1000% profit pump and dump. No one actually uses BTC, no one will actually use Etherium. That's it.
>>1122398
http://dapps.ethercasts.com/
>>1122404
What's that? What is it used for?
>>1122410
They are things that ethereum is actually used for.
>>1122465
Explain.
Let's say I'm a regular Joe, how's ETH supposed to help me? Bitcoin is used for buying drugs online.
>>1122468
Cheaper everything. From insurance to uber rides.
If you want to invest into insurance or give people unlber rides you will get more money
>>1122474
If I want to get a Uber ride or invest in insurance I just pay with my credit card, no? What's the comission? 1%? So ETH will make it 1% cheaper?
>>1122478
etherrum is how the internet was supposed to be
>>1122481
This. etherrumkek
>>1122481
You are changing topic. How's Ethereum supposed to help regular people? Not NEETs "investing" their welfare money.
>>1122478
Right now, a centralised uber corporation makes 40billion dollars from milking both drivers and passengers.
A decentralised uber (which ethereum facilitates) would provide the same function but be cheaper for both driver and passenger
Thats just one application of ethereum. There are infinite applications
You can have decentralised everything, from airbnb, to insurance companies, to banking, government, literally anything.
>>1122487
>Decentralised Uber
Not possible. First of all, someone must have control over the drivers, check if they have licences, etc. Also, there are lots of apps which take less comission than Uber. Nobody uses them anyway.
Ok guys. What's the problem with centralized Uber?
>>1122495
It is possible. There are other decentralised apps that would make this possible. Such as decentralised ID systems and blockchain reputation systems that are uncheatable. And decentralised insurance systems. The whole ecosystem of decentralised tools would be built up to support it to make it possible.
Just like how most websites on the internet wouldn't work unpess there is another website to tell them what the time is and what the value of a dollar is and wether this guys credit card details are correct.
Facebook.com or even 4chan would not be able to work if they were the only sites on the internet.
The ecosystem is just beginning. The basic sites that for instance, tell the time or tell the weather or find location are just being developed now on ethereum to allow all these more high level dapps to work.
>>1122505
Why decentralized 4chan or Facebook would be better than the centralized one?
>>1122500
Nothing. Its just a lot more expensive than it should be.
The driver should be paid more and the passenger should pay less than they do currently.
Also a centralised uber can be sued by the city government for violating taxi regulations. A decentralised uber can never be stopped because you can't sue a piece of software and you can't confiscate the ethereum blockchain.
Now expand that uber example to literally anything you can think of
>>1122510
No ads and no japmoot and zuckerberg to sell your personal data. Also zero censorship.
>>1122478
with a decentralized uber you wouldn't get cucked sending your personal info and credit card info to a corporation who will track your movements and do whatever they please with your information. you also won't be paying a 20% cut on the transaction to people who are literally doing nothing
I own only $200 ether. If it goes to the moon im fine. If it crashes then its not the end of my world. How much are you guys holding here?
>>1122510
Because muh nekcbeard, muh privacy!11
>>1122516
>I need big daddy Uber to watch over my voluntary transactions an keep me safe
could you be any more of a cuck?
>>1122521
>I need bigdaddy ethercuck to protect me from muh government
Just kidding. Buy some.
>>1122516
Theres nothing really stopping bad people from doing bad things. Terrorists and childporn is everywhere without ethereum.
And no i don't think drivers being beaten to death or put in prison is a realistic scenario.
While there's info all over the place about Ethereum, does anyone have any fairly explanatory sites or articles about what the fuck this is and how can one best jump onboard with minimal bullshit?
>>1122528
...like, look through the catalog. It's a really simple thing to buy bitcoins and then use shapeshift.io to convert them to ETH.
You need to obtain a bitcoin wallet and an ethereum wallet. There are fully online options for both of those things. Investigate, learn, educate.
>>1122544
Ok man stop doing the multiple reply thing its really confusing and annoying, lets me and you just reply to each other.
The thing is, the france uber riots situation could not happen with a decentralised uber. It would be entirely p2p. Just like it's super hard to stop people from using bittorrent to purate films it will be impossible to stop people using a decentralised uber.
1. There would be no company livery (in france regulations force uber drivers to drive with a badge)
2. The app would connect passenger with driver, the app would also display the passenger and drivers feedback rating and ID to each other so if the passenger has a comment next to him "beats up drivers" then he wouldnt be getting a ride.
3. Because it is more profitable for the drivers to use hopefully drivers would switch to the decentralised version and be like fuck you uber we are free now so there would be thousands of drivers impossible to beat up
4. Traditional taxi firms would die off as they become economically inefficient compared to the new way.
5. Great benefit to society would occur as you would know if you ever read adam smiths wealth of nations.
Sorry for typos
