How do you get by with biweekly pay?
>>
Budgeting.

I take home 1400 per biweekly check after taxes, insurance and 401k.

25% of first check into savings account
25% of first check to debt ( damn student loans)
50% into "living expense"

Second check
46% to Rent. ( due at the 5th of the month so i budget it out of the second check if the month before)

4% to internet bill
10% to utilities.
25%to savings
25% to living expenses. ( gas, food , dates)
>>
Quite nicely. 42k gross. Just a house note and the usual bills.
>>
I make a lot of money so I spend it how I like.

what's wrong with biweekly pay?

This. You can technically live paycheck-to-paycheck on any payment schedule. No excuses, OP.

IRS takes more taxes?
the more you make the more they take is what i heard

>So 110% on your 2nd check?
good catch. that should be 15% to living

I used to work at a gas marketing company that paid employees every other thursday. seemed legit.
>>
meh. it's whatev. First paycheck of the month is mine. Second paycheck is for rent, food, and loan payment.

It works pretty well.
>>
Monthly pay, I guess I'm used to it.
>>
>>1115745
I don't understand the question. You don't need to do anything differently than any other pay schedule as long as you aren't taking lots of cash out of your checking account with every paycheck.
>>
>>1115769
Your bills are a fixed point every month but the two week cycle moves pay dates all over, that's what.
>>
>>1115934
Yeah, that's a real bitch.
>>
>>1115934
it always falls in a range. you just make sure to the bills fall where they need to.
>>
>>1115745
>save half of what you make a fortnight
>on your off pay week use that money
>when you get paid on the second week put half away
>repeat
you now have weekly pay
>>
>>1115766
What's your type?
