Hello /biz/
I have an income of roughly 2200$ per month, it's not much, but it's a comfy job and my expenses every month are just 100$.
I have 16000$ CDN saved and I feel like investing it in dividend paying stocks as well as ETFs, and keep contributing every month with a % of each paycheck.
Would this be a good long term plan? Or am I better off saving the 16k and building it up further to invest in something else?

I made an agreement with a landlord to stay in a bachelor apartment all inclusive for free in exchange for overseeing his other rental properties. She also also feeds me so it's a pretty great deal.

I'd invest it on moving away from your parents and forget investing money if you're only making $2200 a month. Now get the fuck out of my office.
