No. I mean if it's a matter of survival I can see it being understandable. But scamming is pretty low and way too risky. Even rich ass old white dudes do time for scamming.

Scamming a million idiots out of a dollar? That's whatever. They should have known better, but at the end of the day it's only a dollar.
Scamming 100 old people out of their retirement funds? That's low and cold and just wrong.

Scamming is never ethical, mmkay? Now whether it's justifiable or not may be open to interpretation.
I talk to people every day who are just begging for it. People who conduct thier finances with such recklessness that scamming them wouldn't even hurt them.
Not to say I would do it. I just mean it has become easy for me to understand how it happens so often.
