Hey /biz/
First time on this board, I hope this is not the wrong place to ask - it's money related so I figured I'd give it a shot.
I found this coin in my wallet last weekend and I don't recognize it. It was like given to me as change by mistake, since it looks vaguely similar to a coin we use.
It's roughly 2-3 cms in diameter, could anyone identify it?
*it was likely given

what country are you from

The number says 1372 and there's arabic writing on it, but the current year in islamic calendar is 1437. Could this be 65 years old?

Well that's slightly disappointing. Worth basically half as much as for what I mistook it.
Thanks for your answer mate.

was it passed to you as a 2euro coin or something

200 HUF. The dinar is a bit larger, and has the colors inverted, but at a quick tipsy glance I guess it can be mistook.

We don't even use euros here. What I lost is basically 100 huf, which is around 1/3 euro.
its the new islamic state euro coin
Speaking of ISIS coins, where did the gold dinar hype disappear to? I wanna get some of that sweet blood-soaked heretic gold.
