At least, that's what I can figure. I've got my savings tied up in shares right now earning a 4% dividend, but 4% isn't much.
Of course, it's academical for a few years, because I can't get the money out again before a certain time limit without being taxed on the income. And it'd all be income, considering that the shares were given to me.
