How likely is it that a small producer of wares in the US would agree to supply a small inventory for my own webshop in Norway? I'm a neet without the VC needed but the business idea is tried and tested by a relative that had to quit because of health issues, and ofcourse he sold off his inventory instead of letting me take over running things. The website design is all good (salvaged from his backup & updated) and I'm just waiting to get things up and running again. I was thinking of asking to arrange a dropshipping deal but the freight cost would make small orders too expensive.

TL;DR dropshipping too expensive, how to fill inventory without VC. Need a supply in advance of payment, but that requires trust.
