Hello /biz/
I'm a person who has already studied petrochemical engineering. I can't find job and I need money. I've tried joining in a start up but they are going to close up.
Lurking in this board, Finance caught my attention. How can I switch to that sector? What kind of financial job do you recommend for an engineer and what I have to study?
Finance engineering?
Thanks.

From engineering, you might be best off going into machine learning.

Have you tried not being a filthy weeabo?

Yes, I'm concerned about machine learning but why kind of financial job do you recommend for an engineer?
Which of the main fields is closest to Petrochemical engineering since there's no courses in the field in my country. Is it similar to mechanical, chemical or civil? Figure this out then find a path that many in this field go into that isn't directly related to the field Eg: a mechanical engineer might go into HVAC even though he isn't in building services.
