What is ‘accidental damage’ in regards to mobile phone i n s u r a n c e?

Looking to make a claim after I broke my phone by throwing my trousers at the wall when getting undressed, without realizing my phone was still in the pockets. Stupid story I know, but it's the truth.

Should I say that in the claim, or just say I dropped it (although my phone is actually broken apart, not the usual damage acquired from a drop).

Say it exploded while you were walking and caused severe burns on your leg which insurance didn't cover. Then say you are considering suing.

You'll likely get a new iPhone, an apology and some money to go away.

Your scenario should be covered. That's exactly the kind of thing phone insurance is for.
