What are the odds of getting a commodity trader job without a bachelors degree? I have a strong background in sales and agriculture and I'm capable of passing the Series 3 exam. But I can't find any information on job placement without a degree.
Also commodity general. Anyone have any success or horror stories?

If you can show that you can earn on your own (portfolio of wins from home) then thats a huge leg up but the catch 22 is why would you need them if you could do this? (besides them having better equipment)

You get to play with other people's money for one thing, bring contracts to the market for another. Opening your own brokerage is almost impossible so the only other option is to risk your own capital and even then you need a considerable bankroll to do any serious trading. 25k in a margin account for example.
