I bought it that Thursday morning and had originally intended to sell it at the end of the day (and would have made a profit if I was able), but ended up stuck with it because I ended up stuck in a doctor's office with no connection for hours (I hadn't counted on my phone not working at all in there).
It was down the next morning, but I ended up holding it for the day to see what happened Tuesday since I've noticed the market often doesn't do too well at the start of the week. Nope, it went up three digits. By now I'm taking some significant losses, so I decide to just wait and see what happens, as the market fluctuates, but it just keeps going down. I hadn't counted on such a great week considering how awful things had been going since the start of the year. I'm going to sell it on Monday regardless of what happens.

Meme/penny stocks, as far as I've seen in the past few months of watching stocks, can be both fucking stupid to invest in or really profitable.
The reason they aren't really held that long is because they're volatile as fuck. At the same time, since they're so cheap, you can put a fuck ton of money into them, and if they go up even one cent, that's a decent profit.
For example, I considered going all in on FREE when it was at 4 cents. If I had sold when it was near 6, that would've been a decent profit. I'm currently regretting not doing this.

Not recommending you do what I did but this is what happened to me.
For a while there I was down for an entire month and a half, at one point losing 10%.
I got antsy and decided to put everything I had on timing FREE to make my money back immediately or else lose even more but promised myself I'd exit the stock market forever if I did.
So I put my entire portfolio on it and of course it went down once again (this is the point it hit -10%) but in one last desperate maneuver I decided to keep it over night to see what it would do in the morning on the off chance some magic would happen. lo and behold it rebounded and I broke even somehow. Ever since then I've stayed far away from penny stocks and being careless. Now I trickle my money into the market instead of dumping it in and I've been making steady gains so far.

Yeah. I don't do the penny stocks. I was mostly kidding about not doing it right. I'm down 3.6% last 6 months, and S&P 500 is down 7.8%. So I think I'm doing alright. Have a lot of names that should outperform the mkt if things pick back up. If it keeps going down, I'm sure I'll keep going down but not worried about it.
