I think oil is going to go down to 20 a barrel before it goes back up, but I am not sure about the time frame. How do I monetize this bet?
Have you looked into FCX I would invest in that particulate stock they mostly deal with Gold and Copper but also have some Oil. That is why i invested with them rather then a straight up Oil company. Good luck with what ever you choose.

I would buy a futures "put". You are only at risk the amount you pay for the put option on oil futures. If you sell a put, you are at unlimited risk.
Buy a December 2016 $20 strike put option on WTI. They trade at about $600.00 ea.
Read and study put options on oil futures via the interwebnets.
