Hey, what should I wear to a job interview? I don't have any real "suits" to wear, just a bunch of normal sweaters and jeans.

depends on the company. you should research them and find out what they're like, go to their website or scope out the location. going underdressed OR overdressed will make you look bad.

so wear a dress shirt and some nice pants at least. if you can't be bothered to dress yourself for an interview then you don't deserve the job.
Similar question. I have a breakfast interview at 7am this Friday for a construction engineering internship. Normally I'd wear khaki pants with a nice shirt, but could I get away with some nice jeans since this is in a restaurant setting?

No. Unless they are taking you to McDonalds, an interview over food is still an interview.
bring a portfolio no matter what. it makes you look much less awkward and you don't look like a pleb carrying papers around when the give you forms and stuff.
