If it helps, I inherited 10k after my grandfather died and I spend it all on cocaine, I was too young to receive that much money.
What would *I* do? Buy a supercharger for my car.
My friend was in a very similar situation to you, basically he spent the money on things he wanted, and things to improve himself (home gym etc.) and things worked out fantastically for him.
Not saying you should blow your money as well, but no experience and no job, maybe you could put half that money somewhere that gives you skills such as a truck driver training course, and the other half on yourself. 10k won't even cover your living costs for a year so sure do some light investing, but if I were you honestly I'd look into making that money change your life.

I did that, worked out fine, got good returns and I just take it out when things get shaky every 6 years or so now, hold it, and then put it back in. I can retire soon now
