This is true, they convert instantly through BitPay for a 0-0.9% fee.

Incidentally the fees for BitPay are lower than credit and debit card fees.

This be fucking stupid to spend bitcoin anyway, because anyone holding it should still believe it is going to increase in price. Therefore you're losing potential profit by using it as a currency
