1) Attitudes have been changing on that. I think under 1 year is a definite red flag, but 1-2 years is just iffy.
2) unless my new company collapses I will be here for 2+ years so it won't matter when I look for another position.
3) Just appearance-wise my employment stretch from 2014-2016 so most people don't ask followup questions in terms of what month to what month.
To be in a position of strength as an applicant, there are a few things that I did:
0) I went through headhunters never submitted a resume directly (my suspicion is that those positions are usually filled by the friends/relatives of current employees anyway.)
1)I told recruiters that I was only casually looking for a position and that I would only jump for the right offer not the first one which was true.
2) I kept as many kettles as possible going at the same time. A few days after one final interview, I was in another. I got offers from both firms and played them against each other. You can in fact do this without there being a second offer, but you have to do a little research to make it seem realistic, and when someone in the final interview asks you what's next in your job search, you need to tell them that you have another upcoming interview in 2 days etc...
