Lets say I have a website/app idea, but no coding knowledge. How do people who own a website/app without knowing how to code? Do they hire coders and tell them what they want the site/app to look like? How do they prevent the coders from just stealing their idea? Do they just take a risk and pay them to work on something that may or may not generate profit?

forgot to add, I'm starting to learn Java so I could have the knowledge if I ever get a web/app idea. I'm starting to think it's too much work, especially since I'm probably not going to code the whole thing myself.
