Many think money is the root of all evil. However, let me take you on a journey that may change the way your view the world.
In the early stages of civilization, the advancement of man dependent on the specialization of skill. Rather than each performing all required needs, individuals strived for the mastery of a specific skill. Individuals found it more useful to produce and cooperate with each other in communities. This gave way to professions such as baker, teacher, shoemaker, etc. Some professions were more demanding than others, thus to give incentive to have these demanding professions, we gave these people fewer work hours a day and more food and shelter in exchange for them to perform these we needed someone to had the capabilities to do them. Examples might be soldiers, builders, etc.
Had not these professions "paid" more, no one would've wanted to do them. Years went by and different professions were created like lawyers, doctors, astronauts which were more valued than the average easy job of flipping $2 burgers.
in the end, everyone is needed. It is only the relative need for you that determines your lifestyle. So when someone says they're a waitress, janitor, shelfstocker, do not mock them because of much they make, be happy that you have the skills disabling you to have a shitty job.
Wealth reserves dissipate, muscles shrink, knowledge stays forever

Specialization is for insects. I started going down that road but now prefer being jack of all trades and master of none.
