Each breeder I've known has not been wealthy and have smelled like shit. Might as well be a farmer. Their businesses sustained themselves well.

Well, basically it's like this. You're too lazy to do any research whatsoever (which means you're highly likely to fail anyway). To answer you, someone would have to do your work for you, or another anon is going to come along who has experience, and enumerate your costs and how they would affect a business plan, effectively doing your research for you...whereas all you would have to do is pick up your phone, call a vet and food/etc store.
In my experience, the observation that breeders I've personally met, selling dogs for a price comparable to yours, do not have much wealth to speak of, education, or other things I would want in life--i.e. not smelling like shit because you actually have to stimulate and interact with your product closely for long periods of time, or even living with them--is enough to say "there are no potential gains."
