How to get positive feedback on eBay to start selling, assuming you're willing to spend some money to get it? I assume you could buy very cheap items, but how to know whether the seller will leave you positive feedback?

Also, once you've got a Yellow Star, would it be very easy to sell stuff?

I've bought from 0 feedback sellers who wrote a note saying they are new to eBay. As long as it doesn't look like a scam and had decent photos you should be ok. eBay covers buyers when shit goes wrong

I think I didn't explain it well:
I want to start selling stuff, but I have 0 feedback.

I want to buy random cheap stuff from other sellers, just so that they would leave me positive feedback (so that I would be able to sell easily), but how do I know whether they would leave me the said positive feedback? Is there a way to check?

Most leave feedback, maybe not immediately. Buy from a smaller company who might have more time to leave feedback quicker.

If you want to check, look at their feedback and then the feedback of the person leaving the feedback, and look for one's from the seller... If that makes sense.
Just buy a load of cheap shit, you'll get feedback quickly.

Alright, thanks for the help.
By the way, can others see that I bought lots of penny items? Is there a way to make my purchases private? I don't want others to find out that I was buying cheap shit in bulk just to get feedback.

Some auctions are private, but most people won't care enough to look unless your auction looks sketchy
