Canadafag here, What languages should I learn to get an edge in foreign countries? Should I pick a country i want to do business in or is there something else I should consider.

Considering Mandarin because obvious reasons.

I'm interested in product design and manufacture for the agricultural industry...someday want to operate globally

manufactoring and design on an industrial scale German maybe, but even then they will communicate in English.

Nothing of actual value or worth comes out of China. No one goes there to have anything made that they are going to put their name on.
