He's got a point OP.
Pros are:
-you get to travel all over the place and meet new folks, try new things.
-no rent just BIG initial payment, of course fuel is a thing too, still better than rent
cons:
-shit hygiene/living conditions
-will have to revert to indian lifestyle and find some designated shittig streets/beaches/shrubs

This sums it up, not much more to be said about it
Pros come down to:
*freedom*
*interesting experiences*
*overall low cost of living*
Cons
*Loser-ish lifestyle*
*Likely lack of cleanliness after a while*
*Lack of real 1st world comfort*

Fuel is stupid cheap right now. Like, unsustainably cheap. Vandwelling for travel is totally a good idea to do now while you still can.

Interestingly you can always swift streets/parks/beaches if you're surrounded by noise or unsavoury individuals. You can't do that if you're tied to a lease. Think about it, you can live in the nicest areas of any city if you have light-proof curtains.

Fuel is cheap right now and that is why vans and trucks are selling great. When fuel gets more expensive sales will drop. Here in Europe we pay 6$/gallon (converted from euro/liter)

Do you happen to work as a clown on a fair?

Well you cant bring a women back to a van. Internet access is sketchy. If you take a systems approach and get a gym membership for showers thats not too bad (youll be more inclined to work out once yourr already their) , youll have to get clever about keeping clothes and food seperate - like anything you cook will stink ip the place and you probably dont want t smell like cabbage (unless youre profession is carnie)
