You fell for the local business meetups.
I went to one and could use an app developer, has to be local to be inhouse. I meet a guy who says he develops apps, wants to meet up.
We meet up, I pay for his lunch/drinks, tell him what sites I need apps for, very simple apps. A few pages, login, using some sdks for some pages.
He tells me it sounds great, but that he has his own idea for an app and wants me to bankroll it. Its an okay idea but its in health and im in finance/entertainment.
He says he really doesnt want to just work for others, really wants partnership with his app.
Okay fine, what do you need for this app? I have servers, graphics ppl, can come up with the advertising plan.
He tells me we would need someone to develop the app, he hasnt been able to get any apps to compile successfully.
